We all had an amazing time playing Toronto. Thanks to those that came bearing gifts and support and above all thanks to Diane Foy on the ground in TO for completely filling a room with badge wearing full attention paying music lovers.
What a great time in such a great city. Amazing people, weather, vibe, ale.....photos to follow.

Thanks to all the friends in Buffalo for showing up after work for the blue plate special, particularly just hours after that town was so hard hit with news of a fallen favorite son, Tim Russert...."just when he was needed the most." Apologies to all those that bet we wouldn't be on at 8 ......and for saying to witness the encores was worth it. That was some sound system when placed in the hands of Mr. Porter.

To the Parting Glass in Saratoga, thanks for being such amazing conductors on the Underground Irish Rock n Roll Railroad. The highway is a long one. To tie up the horse at such a warm place means more than we can articulate here.

All are looking forward to catching up in the city and to the big gig Friday in Hoboken. We have Roger Bryan, fresh from the studio with band in tow. While the lads rehearse with electricity this week, they will turn the power down just a bit this Wednesday at 10 pm to play a cozy little tune up at Rockwood Music Hall on Allen Street. They love the room and Dave likes their piano even more.

Tonite is an off one for rest and repose. Tomorrow there are rumours of a monster party on Stone Street in Manhattan from 5-whenever. There are usually guitars laying around down there. Happy Bloomsday.

Hoboken here we come. FRIDAY NIGHT MAXWELL'S TICKETS

TORONTO ETC

Well, the guitars are being tweeked and the gear inventoried for a flight over the ocean. The band lands in Toronto on June 11th and will play the following night at 10 pm to kick off the NORTH BY NORTHEAST MUSIC AND FILM FESTIVAL 2008
NORTH BY
Our stage is Holy Joe's at Bathurst and Queen Street West in the Big Bop Complex. The room holds about 140 and well, some people know we are coming.

The band will be doing an in store appearance before our Holy Joe's gig at Sunrise Records at 336 Yonge Street Thursday afternoon at 5 pm. At this juncture we are just happy to go into a record store, let alone play a NXNE stage set up in this last bastion of Canadian discdom. Sunrise Records

It was too much to bear thinking about a Friday the 13th in Buffalo without a stage. We found it. An early show right in the heart of North Buffalo and then a keg party afterwards in some fan's backyard while crickets play encores. The duties of a major PR campaign can be tedious. Broadway Joe's at 3051 Main Street. It's also the opening night of the enormous Allentown Art Festival in Buffalo so we are glad to be cruising thru town.
Allentown Art Festival
Saturday night at the Parting Glass in Saratoga and then, after woodshedding new tunes all week, our only NYC area show is on Friday the 20th at Maxwell's in Hoboken. We've told you the room is amazing, the food and beer up front as good, we have Roger Bryan and full band opening, and there are now, it appears, limited tickets available. Only $10.
MAXWELL'S TICKETS
Hot fun in the town that gave us Sinatra, The Feelies and Yo La Tengo. This club deserves its own plaque on the National Register of Historic Indie Rock and Roll Places.
MAXWELL'S THROUGH THE YEARS
Looking forward to the opening chords. See you there we hope.
